Donate Denim to Reduce Landfill Waste at Fashion Outlets of Chicago
Denim Jean Donation Drive
Now through May 1, 2022 | Concierge Services, Level One, near Saks OFF 5TH
To celebrate Earth Month, Fashion Outlets of Chicago is hosting a Denim Jean Drive to reduce landfill waste, while giving back to the community!
Donate at least one pair of jeans at Concierge Services for Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in exchange for a $10 gift card to J. Crew Factory Store, Puma, POLO Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Levi’s or Lovisa at Fashion Outlet of Chicago. If your jeans are too worn for wear, we will recycle them to help protect the planet.
Each participating shopper is eligible to receive one $10 gift card during the promotion and must donate at least one pair of denim jeans at Concierge Services. See Concierge Services for terms and conditions or text your question to 847.957.4600. Must be 18 or older. Up to two gift cards per household.
It takes several gallons of water to produce a single pair of jeans. In order to drive awareness to the importance of recycling and reusing denim to protect the planet, Fashion Outlets of Chicago will debut a new art installation entitled, “Denim River.” Created by Chicago-based artist Brandin Hurley, the installation will feature denim “water” flowing upwards in a dynamic and sculptural arc designed to wrap around the viewer. “Denim River” will be on view at Fashion Outlets of Chicago from April 22 through September 30, 2022 on Level One, near Concierge Services.
