“Fitness in the Park” FREE Summer Workout series Returns to Parkway Bank Park
Free Weekly Yoga, Zumba and PowHerHouse classes offered on the Park’s great center lawn June 12 – August 16
Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district (5501 Park Place, Rosemont) visitors can have fun while getting fit this summer with the return of the Park’s “Fitness in the Park” series. Visitors are invited to participate in free Yoga, Zumba and PowHerhouse classes offered Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays beginning June 12. The fitness classes will be open to all skill levels and take place on the Park’s great lawn. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water to all Fitness in the Park classes.
“Yoga in the Park” will take place Sunday mornings from 10 – 11 a.m. beginning Sunday, June 18 and running through Sunday, August 13. Presented by Rosemont Health and Fitness, participants are asked to bring their yoga mats to experience the benefit of yoga with seasoned instructors. Beginning June 12, Rosemont Health and Fitness will host “Zumba in the Park” Monday nights from 6 – 7 p.m. through August 7. Each week, Zumba instructors will lead the exciting and invigorating classes from a stage in the middle of the park. Advance registration is available at ParkwayBankPark.com.
Feel empowered all summer long on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. June 14 through August 16 at “PowHerhouse” classes. Designed for all fitness levels, the PowHerhouse Fitness team will host fun and exciting low impact workouts, cardio kickboxing, restorative classes, and more. Fitness in the Park will conclude with a Special Fitness Finale class featuring both Yoga and Zumba on Monday, August 14 from 6 – 8 p.m.
