Free Outdoor Concerts & Fitness Classes Return this Summer
Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district (5501 Park Place, Rosemont) is thrilled to announce that its beloved free outdoor concerts and fitness classes will return to the entertainment district this summer.
“The Park’s summer concerts and fitness classes have become a tradition for area locals over the past several years,” said Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens. “Our staff is working diligently to welcome these events back to Parkway Bank Park with the proper protocols in place to keep our guests safe.”
Both “Rockin’ in the Park” and “Friday Night Concert” series are scheduled to return. Specific dates and series lineups will be announced at a date to be determined. Admission to all concerts is free. Outside food and coolers are prohibited. Parking is available at the Parkway Bank Park parking garage and is free with validation from any of the park’s venues.
Free Yoga and Zumba are also scheduled to return to the Park during the summer months. Class dates and times will be announced at a later date. Advance online registration will be required to ensure limited capacities and social distancing during fitness classes.
In accordance with the State of Illinois’ “Restore Illinois” reopening plan, Parkway Bank Park will implement the necessary wellness protocols to ensure the safety of its staff and guests during all outdoor public events. The Park will continually monitor the guidance as set forth by the Illinois Department of Public Health and adapt procedures as necessary.
