Rules & Regulations – "Code of Conduct"

At Rosemont Health & Fitness our goal is to provide a welcoming, safe, and motivating environment where everyone can pursue their fitness goals! This code of conduct outlines the standards and expectations for all members, guests, and staff. Your cooperation ensures that everyone enjoys their experience.
- General Behavior:
- Treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
- Use appropriate language; avoid offensive or inappropriate comments.
- Act appropriately at all times. This is a “shared” space for all to feel safe mentally, physically and socially.
- Follow staff instructions and requests promptly.
- Report any suspicious activity or behavior to Management.
- Verbal threats or acts of violence toward any RHF employee, member or guest will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal of the facility, suspension and/or termination of membership, as well as possible prosecution.
- Check-in Procedures:
- All members must present their own membership card upon entry. No exceptions. There is a $15 replacement fee for new card.
- Allowing others to use your membership card will result in immediate termination of privileges.
- Guests must show a valid photo ID, sign waiver and pay appropriate fees (if applicable). Guests who are 16 or 17 years of age must have a parent/legal guardian present. Guests must comply to the same club policies and procedures.
- A maximum of two towels will be provided upon entry. If additional towels are needed, please dispose your used towel at the front desk towel bin and request an additional towel.
- Notify staff of any changes to personal information.
- Dress Code:
- Wear appropriate athletic attire, including athletic pants/shorts, shirt, and closed-toe athletic shoes. Barefeet, sandals, boots, “socks only” are not permitted in any fitness area besides the locker room and pool area.
- All clothing must be worn appropriately and fully.
- Refrain from wearing clothing with offensive images or language.
- “Modesty” is required while in the locker room. Towels (provided) or other “coverings” must be used unless in your personal shower space or while changing your clothes.
- Appropriate swimwear is required to be worn at all times while in the pool area, pool and whirlpool. Swimwear is not allowed to be pulled down, up or over while in any public area, pool or whirlpool for any reason, regardless if there is no one in the area.
- Outside street clothes/shoes are not permitted in the pool and/or whirlpool.
- Be modest while utilizing the steam and sauna areas.
- Equipment Use:
- Return all equipment to its proper place after use.
- Use all equipment as it is intended.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to staff.
- No equipment should be brought into the locker rooms, steam, sauna or pool area.
- Be kind. Allow others to “work in” between sets.
- Do not “over-utilize” any area of the club so others cannot access also. (i.e. turf area, boxing area, etc.)
- Safety/Hygiene:
- User is responsible to fully clean each piece of equipment when completed. There are cleaning wipes available throughout the facility and additional cleaning supplies can be obtained if necessary. Staff reserves the right to remind member if equipment is not fully cleaned after usage.
- Refrain from using the facility if sick or experiencing symptoms of illness, rashes, open wounds, etc. Management reserves the right to refuse use of facility if observed.
- No spitting, nose blowing (without a disposable tissue), disposing of gum on equipment, floor, etc. at any time.
- Please refrain from heavy perfumes/colognes or any obtrusive body odor.
- Hydration: Stay hydrated by bringing or purchasing your own water bottle. Water stations are provided throughout the facility.
- Showers are required to enter the pool area.
- Report any injury to a staff member.
- Personal Belongings:
- Lockers are available for daily use only unless in the Premier locker room or rented monthly. Do not leave belongings overnight in any daily locker.
- Keep gym floor and walkways clear of bags, jackets, and other personal items.
- RHF is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Media and Technology:
- To respect everyone’s privacy, please restrain from videotaping/camera-use in all fitness areas.
- Earbuds/headsets are required for all personal audio devices.
- Refrain from phone conversations in all workout areas.
- No camera use or facetime while in locker room and/or pool area.
- Children and Minors:
- Children entering and exiting the Childcare area must stay with the parent at all times. Children are not allowed in any fitness area or locker room at any time.
- No one under the age of 16 may be a guest or become an RHF member. Valid proof of age is required at the time of sign-up.
- 16 and 17 yr. old Members are not allowed to bring guests.
- Respect the Facility/Members:
- Observe gym hours and policies.
- Exit all fitness areas 30 minutes prior to closing each day.
- Exit the building at or before the closing time of the facility.
- Respect the property; refrain from defacing or damaging any part of the facility.
- Do not enter any construction areas and/or areas that have posted signage to not enter.
- Do not enter or exit any exterior doors except the RHF front door. (CAST/Touch Companies’ exterior door is reserved for their patients/clients only.
- All fitness studios are reserved for instructed classes, not for personal use.
- No one is allowed in the Premier locker rooms (including guests) except for paid Premier members.
- Travel slowly counterclockwise around the building for the safety of everyone.
- Park legally at all times.
Violation of this “Code of Conduct” may result in a “warning”, suspension and/or termination of membership, at the discretion of RHF.
