It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of retired Rosemont Dispatcher and active Rosemont Auxiliary Lieutenant Joe Molini. Lt. Molini was a staple within our department and in the community. His loss is truly one that will affect many. We thank him for his dedication and commitment to our department and the Village of Rosemont for nearly 40 years. A fundraiser to assist his family has been set at Zanies Rosemont on March 6. Doors open at 6:30pm with the event beginning at 7:30pm. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Molini family. We are excited to be back at White Pines Golf Course which will host us on 2 golf courses. The format will once again feature scramble play starting with a 9:30am shotgun start. Lunch will be provided on the course followed with dinner in the clubhouse. We will once again have 2-hours of open bar during dinner. A silent auction will also be taking place to provide an opportunity for guests to take home some great prizes while all raising additional funds for the charity. Proceeds from the entire event will directly benefit the Rosemont Public Safety Charitable Foundation.
