ROSEMONT CELEBRATES GRANT FROM CN RAILWAY AND AMERICA IN BLOOM MONDAY, JUNE 23
The Village of Rosemont and Rosemont Public Works Department, in partnership with America in Bloom and CN Railway will host a special celebration on Monday, June 23, to unveil a new community beautification project made possible through a matching grant from CN Railway’s “EcoConnexions From the Ground Up” program, administered in the U.S. by America in Bloom.
With help from volunteers from Christopher Burke Engineering, the project features the installation of arborvitae, honeylocust trees and ornamental grasses, enhancing the green space just north of Rosemont Health & Fitness near the CN Railway line.Now in its twelfth year, the “EcoConnexions From the Ground Up” program supports CN’s commitment to environmental stewardship by partnering with communities along its rail network to promote sustainability and beautification.
Where: Just north of Rosemont Health & Fitness off Higgins Road, near the CN Railway line.
When: Monday, June 23 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
