Professional Softball Internship Opportunities

The Village of Rosemont is hosting Athletes Unlimited women’s professional fastpitch in August and September and we are looking for several well-rounded, hard-working interns interested in getting their careers started in the sports industry. Each internship opportunity is unpaid but does have the ability to turn into a paid position based on the interns’ performance and revenue-generating efforts.  College credit offered for all positions if applicable.

Ticket Sales & Operations
Interns will be trained in Ticket Master
Responsible for ticket sales in office and on game days
Work closely with group coordinators for large organizations in the community including, but not limited to softball and baseball organizations, youth groups, businesses, chamber of commerce, etc.
Assisting with ticket mailings and promotions
Other special projects and administrative duties, as assigned
Assigned game night responsibilities

Fan Engagement Experience
Acts as customer service representative during all Athletes Unlimited games
Assists anthem singers/special guests, works guest relations, assists ticket department during games
Acts as an usher to help fans find seats
Assists merchandise department during games to ensure a friendly shopping atmosphere for all fans in the ballpark.

Club House Operations
Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of the team clubhouse

Make sure players lockers have the proper equipment – assist in set up of locker room

Receive and log player equipment and uniforms as it is shipped here and set up appropriately in lockers

Ensures player uniforms are ready and organized for each game – this includes doing laundry
Prepares clubhouse food pre and post-game, including stocking water coolers, fridge, etc.
Assists players in a concierge type roll

Merchandise Sales
Assist in setting up merchandise inventory and selling merchandise on game days


ALL POSITIONS WILL REQUIRE BEING HIGHLY ORGANIZED, DEPENDABLE, AND A GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE.  We are looking for team players that will fill in anything that is required during this event.
