This public art project’s goal is to support our art community and raise awareness for local businesses, while helping a local charity and promote “Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet,” a touring production coming to the Rosemont Theatre December 8.
The 2024 program has been named “Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet’s Wonderland”. This year each nutcracker will be designed and painted by 17 different local High School art programs mentored by their teachers and professional artists.
Rosemont residents and visitors will have the opportunity to view the life-sized Nutcrackers while on display at the DES Convention Center from Nov. 22 – Dec. 1 during the Sports Spectacular, Muscle Car and Jurassic Quest shows and then at the Rosemont Theatre during the Nutcracker Magical
