Construction of a 1920’s style vintage garage restaurant and an exhibit space that provides customers virtual experiences will kick-off in six to eight weeks resulting in the near completion of development of the village of Rosemont’s Pearl District along Balmoral Avenue east of the Tri-State tollway (I-294).
On July 8, 2024 Mayor Brad Stephens revealed plans for the two projects that will be located side-by-side on a vacant village-owned property. The new businesses are slated to open August 2025.
Ford’s Garage, one of the country’s hottest restaurant concepts, is opening its first Illinois location here in Rosemont and will be serving American fair like, classic burgers, craft beer and signature cocktails and will occupy a 7,800 sq. ft., single-story building once work is completed.
The other property, EXP, will occupy a single-story 28,000 sq. ft. building. Both will be situated just south of a village-owned parking garage and near Impact Field, where the Chicago Dogs baseball team plays games.
Ford’s Garage has many locations in Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Texas, Virginia and in Indiana.
Details of EXP will be announced soon where guests will engage in a variety of virtual experiences.
Stay tuned for more to come!
