Rosemont, Ill. – Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district (5501 Park Place, Rosemont) will celebrate Summer with a variety of special events presented by Verilife Cannabis Store, including Fitness in the Park beginning June 12 and Jolly in July throughout the entire month of July, in addition to Rockin’ in the Park all summer long.
Offering guests the opportunity to get fit in the Summer sun, Fitness in the Park will return to Parkway Bank Park with free yoga on Sundays, Zumba on Mondays and PowHerhouse on Wednesdays all summer, beginning June 12. The Holiday Season returns to Parkway Bank Park early this year with Jolly in July, in partnership with Toys for Tots. Throughout the month, Parkway Bank Park will serve as a Toys for Tots donation site at participating locations including Adobe Gilas, Bub City, Crust, Five Roses, Fashion Outlets of Chicago, Fogo de Chão, Harley Davidson, Kings, Park Tavern, Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, Pete’s TikiTiki, Sugar Factory, Verilife Cannabis Store and Zanies. The final week of July will be extra festive, with park holiday décor, holiday-themed Fitness in the Park workout programs and events including Echoes of Pompeii live at 7pm on July 28, Bruce in the USA and Deadfest at 7pm on July 29 and a Chicago Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Ride at 10:30am on July 31. Festive wear is encouraged for all Jolly in July events and Toys for Toys donation boxes will be available onsite to donate at all participating venues and events. In addition, Rockin’ in the Park’s 2022 series will delight and entertain all summer long with free concerts every Thursday, plus special Friday Night and holiday performances by Yachtley Crew and The Millennials on June 24; Silver Bullet Band STL on July 4; Bruce in the USA and Deadfest on July 29; and Bee Gees Gold and The Wayouts on August 26. Concerts continue every Thursday all summer featuring music by classic cover bands alongside food and beverage tents on the park’s great lawn, culminating with a musical fireworks display.
